Event Details

In 1843, “A Christmas Carol,” written by Charles Dickens, made it’s debut in England! It changed how Christmas was celebrated and influenced Americans like James K. Polk in Tennessee!
This exciting, new event, offers a progressive play of “A Christmas Carol,” moving across our the Polk property. Perfect for families, this 30-40 version of A Christmas Carol will show the key moments of Christmas Past, Present and Future, in partnership with Watershed Public Theatre.
Tickets are required for these showtimes and space is extremely limited. Participants can only reserve tickets for one show time and should arrive early to keep their spot.
In addition to these ticketed showtimes, our site will offer hot drinks, festive crafts and activities for families around the site. You do not need to reserve a ticket for these events, but all activities are first come, first serve.
This event is funded in part by the Tennessee Arts Commission.
