Let's Hike! Chickasaw Trace Park: 5-Mile Challenge

This month we’re turning up the difficulty level with a more strenuous trail around the perimeter of Chickasaw Trace Park. We’ll start by covering the basics of what to pack (and what to leave behind) for a day hike before heading out on the trail. This is a great experience for anyone interested in building hiking skills and increasing mileage on future adventures. Bring your day pack, sturdy shoes, water, and a snack. You’re also welcome to bring a picnic lunch for after the hike—you might work up an appetite!
