Calling all storytellers! Join us for the annual Mule Day Liars Contest to be held on Friday, April 10th at 7pm in the Columbia Central High School Auditorium. This is a storytelling contest. Contestants will have five minutes to weave their best comical tale. Contestants will be broken into an adult (18 years & older) division and a juvenile (ages 17 & under) division. A panel of judges will select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place winners. Each winner will win a cash prize. The 1st Place winner of the adult division will also win a belt buckle! Storytellers can register at the door to compete.
The price of admission is $5 per person. Storytellers competing in the event do not have to pay.
All proceeds of this event benefit the Rose Hill Cemetery Association with their efforts for maintaining the cemetery. For more information, please call event Master of Ceremonies, Adam Southern, at (931) 626-8368.
