About the event
Join Maury County Parks & Recreation and the Maury County Public Library for Trail Tales…an outdoors literary adventure! Together, we will read "Up in the Garden & Down in the Dirt" by Kate Messner along the Storybook Trail located in Maury County Park. We'll finish off the program with a snack and special story-themed craft.

Address: 1018 Maury County Park Dr. Columbia, TN 38401 Directions: To locate the trail, enter Maury County Park and continue straight on the main park road. Continue past the Kids Kingdom playground on the right and straight up the large hill. The trailhead is located on the right. *If parking lot is full, please park along the main road.
About the book: Explore the secret realm beneath the dirt that brings the world of nature to life: Follow a young girl and her grandmother on a journey through the year planning, planting, and harvesting their garden—and learn about what's happening in the dirt to help make it all happen.
