About the event
Join Maury County Parks & Recreation and the Maury County Public Library for Trail Tales…an outdoors literary adventure! Together, we will read "My Friend Earth" by Patricia MacLachlan along the Storybook Trail located in Maury County Park. We'll finish off the program with a snack and special story-themed craft.

Directions: To locate the trail, enter Maury County Park and continue straight on the main park road. Continue past the Kids Kingdom playground on the right and straight up the large hill. The trailhead is located on the right. *If parking lot is full, please park along the main road.
About the book: Our friend Earth does so many wonderful things! She tends to animals large and small. She pours down summer rain and autumn leaves. She sprinkles whisper-white snow and protects the tiny seeds waiting for spring. Readers of all ages will enjoy the vibrant pages of this spectacular book.
